I’m Azure, the heart and soul behind Auckland Girl – A women's community based here in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa.
Auckland Girl is all about bringing women together to connect and build genuine friendships. We've got all sorts of events lined up to make that happen, from walk + coffee meetups, to reformer pilates, yoga and meditation events, to workshops like paint & sip, pottery painting, candle making, cocktail crafting, and so much more.
I created Auckland Girl shortly after returning home from living abroad in the UK because I realised coming back here that we didn’t have much in the way of a women’s community, particularly for those in their 20’s/30’s, and I’m sure we can agree that making friends as an adult is hard (having experienced the struggle firsthand myself), I wanted to change that. Thus, Auckland Girl was born.
All the funds received from events run by Auckland Girl are reinvested back into the community to further support our mission of growing and delivering enhanced experiences for our members.
